Minutes
Abbreviated meeting with so many still on summer vacations.
We discussed structured views and containers. This is work that is also going on in the Requirements workgroup. DOORS modules, and UML models both have a need to present themselves to clients, in structured ways.
We briefly discussed the idea of passing a viewpoint identifier in as a query parameter to a GET on a collection requesting the response to be returned in a structured way (e.g. only the top nodes of a tree hierarchy). Each node would have a link to the children links which the client could get when the user clicks to expand that node.
We discussed the idea of cascaded deletes, moves and similar behaviours.
Yuriy suggested the usefulness of properties on resource definitions specifically to assist in client rendering of the resource.
The meeting ended early with Jim agreeing to start or update wiki pages with structured view examples and requirements for UML domain.
