Today OASIS announced the formation of two new OSLC Technical Committees (TCs) and called for participation from among the OSLC Member Section supporters, OASIS general membership, and the industry at large.
The OASIS OSLC Lifecycle Integration for Automation (OSLC Automation) TC was proposed by IBM, Method Park, National Instruments, and WSO2. It has as its goal:
to produce specifications that leverage the OSLC Core Specifications and enable interoperation of automation processes among IT systems and services hosted on platforms such as servers, workstations, and smart hand-held devices to improve efficiency and reduce the need for human interactions in the software development, test, deployment, and operations lifecycle phases
The OASIS OSLC Lifecycle Integration for Project Management of Contracted Delivery (OSLC PROMCODE) TC was proposed by Fujitsu, IBM, Nanzan University, and NEC. It has as its goal:
to create an open standard specification of a model and information used for project management in SSC (Software Supply Chains)
More details and instructions for joining can be found in the OASIS announcements (linked above).
OSLC Automation and OSLC PROMCODE will join the existing OSLC Member Section-affiliated TCs, OSLC Core and OSLC CCM (Change and Configuration Management).
