Getting Started With Topcased

Basic notes to using the zip file with topcased dated 22/6 for new users oif topcased

1. install topcased from http://www.topcased.org/index.php/content/view/40/54/
2. start up eclipse from the icon provided in the topcased folder
3. define a workspace
4. seletct the Topcased navigator
5. create a new Topcased project (wizard
6. Name project e.g. OSLCALMPLMScenarios
7. Select project from Topcased navigator
8. Right mouse "Import"
9. Select "general", "Archive file"
10. Locate the downloaded zip file e.g. OSLCALMPLMScenariosV0? .2a.zip
See that the project name will populate the "follder" box e.g. OSLCALMPLMScenarios
11. Finish
12. in the Topcased navigator - locate the diagram - off you go !

Why is Topcased being used ?

The PLM Workgroup members proposed Topcased as an open-source option for modelling the Scenario

How can I see the open issues in the Activity diagrams ?

Presently some issues are marked as Comments others appear in the Action properties. We will try to consolidate this before release.

How do I submit marked up comments ?

An approach will be proposed before pre-release of the scenario. If you feel able today you can add further comments and export. You can also generate a jpg and mark it up in a ppt, you can also send a remark in a mail with reference to a model element e.g. a3 must be .....
