• Introduced new workgroup member: PaulMcMahan
• Subteam to focus on specification effort, early drafy ready for review by next meeting. Subteam consists of Ian, with support from Steve and Dominic. Andy, Brenda, Simon, Rainer are review team. Rainer reported that some staff within Siemens may act as early consumers of the interface, perhaps in the form of a prototype, but that this was not committed. Scott emphasised that a prototype would be very beneficial.
• David outlined his thoughts on a more structured framework for the group to adopt. There was some discussion on this, a main concern being that agreeing on a such a framework could be onerous and distracting from the main objectives of the workgroup. Comments solicited here.
