Agenda
Actions taken:
AI: Dave to investigate size hint changes from UI preview, make sure it gets into Core, may already be there* - DONE and in Core
AI: Dave talk to Arthur and get that the RDF/XML query examples right - DONE and let's review
Corresponded with Arthur to identify problems in RDF/XML query result example
Proposed formats for "shapeless" queries, got more good feedback frmo Arthur:
http://open-services.net/pipermail/oslc-core_open-services.net/2010-August/000480.html
Attempted to write up Arthur's proposal and guidance in Appendix A here:
http://open-services.net/bin/view/Main/OSLCCoreSpecRDFXMLExamples#Specifying_the_shape_of_a_query
AI: Dave to change to dc:creator and dc:contributor to resource value-type "Either" - DONE and in Appendix A
AI: Dave to change to dc:creator and dc:contributor so they SHOULD be foaf:Person - DONE and in Appendix A
AI: Dave to investigate adding rdfs:label to common properties
Not certain that this is equivalent to oslc:name or oslc:label
Range of rdfs:label is literal
Domain is rdfs:Resource, which indicates it only makes sense in an RDFS schema?
http://www.w3.org/TR/rdf-schema/#ch_label
Pending actions:
AI: Dave to provide example of paged resource
Any status or community news to share?

Topics discussed
Discussed RDF/XML query examples and three ways to get queries
Dave: are these examples and guidances correct?
Dave: do we need use cases to explain when to use each
Jim: don't need use cases, these examples are useful enough
Scott: use cases may not be a good idea, but a discussion of the motivation for each approach would be good
Scott: for technique #2 you are not adding an oslc:resourceType you are adding rdf:type to the query
Dave: oslc:resourceType is what you would use to specify that type in a resource shape
Scott: this probably needs more review
AI - Dave: yes, I will ask Arthur for a detailed review and mark the spec to indicate that it is under review
Discussed idea of adding rdfs:label to common properties
Scott: we replaced dcterms:name, which does not exist, with oslc:shortTitle - no need for rdfs:label there
Scott: we use oslc:label in the Service Provider
Dave: rdfs:label is supposed to be an XMLLiteral, so it is not a good replacement for oslc:label
Dave: no reason to add this to common properties, at least not yet
Discussed what to cover in next workgroup meetings
Dave: not ready to discuss Links today
Scott: can we queue up the discussion for next week, we need to get moving on Links
Jim: I'd like to participate but I will be at Innovate 2010 India next week
Jim and Ian had short discussion of polymorphic resources, not necessarily related to representations
Wrapped up meeting
Next week: another short review meeting
Week after: discuss links and how to finalize
