(contact Grant Larsen if you'd like to participate)

Agenda:

  • Discuss completion of to-do items from previous meeting
  • Discuss scenarios

Notes from Meeting

Discussed creating more scenarios in terms of more complex searching and for different types of users, such as architects. Also discussed adding scenarios to address asset governance.

The group agreed to write these scenarios down and be prepared for an initial vote on 29 July 2009 regarding scenarios which should be included in version 1 of the REST specification.

We discussed that these scenarios as part of the OSLC are focused in integration scenarios and that some scenarios may come up that may not be in that scope but rather may be intended for individual products to implement. As a group we will keep an eye on this to focus on integration scenarios.

Some of the governance scenarios we discussed include:

  • Define review for one or more assets
  • Initiate asset(s) review
  • Submit my review of one or more assets
  • Verify asset(s)' policy compliance
  • Vote on an asset (approve, reject,...)
  • Retrieve the current state of one or more assets
  • Move the asset to another state
  • Stop (or cancel) asset(s)' review
  • Retrieve who is responsible for asset(s) in the current state
  • Retrieve how long have assets been in the current state
  • Remove/Add user(s) from the review process
  • Retrieve the assets that I need to review

Several to-do items came from this discussion.
