On 30 May, the OASIS open standards consortium will ​officially announce
the formation of the Open Services for Lifecycle Collaboration (OSLC)
​Member Section. You are invited to attend an advance online briefing where
OASIS and OSLC executives will provide:
* context on the OSLC standards
* insights into what's ahead
* OSLC user's perspective
* comments on the significance of the transition

OSLC standards enable software lifecycle tools to share data, ​making​ it
easy and practical to integrate tools from many vendors that support the
phases of developing, deploying, and monitoring software. OSLC represents a
simple approach to tool integration. By using the architecture of the Web
and Linked Data, OSLC connects resources managed by heterogeneous lifecycle
tools.
