Subject: [Oslc-steeringcommittee] Effective monthly meetings

I hope everyone has safely made it to their destination (or at least an intentional in-between location).

Rainer and I had a passing conversation as we left Friday afternoon. We didn't come to any specific conclusion, but we did raise a challenge topic: effective use of our Steering Committee time.

There are several areas where we want to make progress. However, in a one hour meeting, we can either work through several simple topics or explore one more challenging topic, but we don't really have sufficient time to do more than that.

We didn't come to a conclusion, but we did propose some alternatives: meetings with greater focus, careful prioritization, extend our meeting slot to 90 mins to support time to do more.

Are you open to the 90 minute meeting slot?

Do you have other thoughts on this?

take care,
John
