Welcome to the OSLC SCM team!

I will set up our initial meeting after giving people a little more time 
to respond to the call for participation.  In the mean time, I welcome 
questions, and I also invite participants to introduce themselves and 
state why they have joined the group; this way, the mail archives will 
record this information, which should be useful for new members joining 
the team in the future.

To start with myself, my name is Nick Crossley, and I work for IBM 
Rational on the Synergy SCM and Change CM products (previously Telelogic 
products).  I am based in Costa Mesa in California, so that will have some 
impact on meeting times - most of the rest of the current participants are 
in the U.S. Eastern time zone.  I have worked on CM and SCM tools about 20 
years, and on compilers and operating systems before that.  I am very 
interested in standard REST services for SCM because we produce a number 
of products that integrate with a variety of SCM tools, including Rational 
Synergy, Rational ClearCase, Rational Team Concert, and Subversion.  I am 
also interested in seeing consistency and interoperation between a wide 
variety of OSLC services, including requirements, change, software 
configuration, and quality/test management.
