What exactly is an IoS ?

Other than that, is there any link with Eclipse Polarsys
http://wiki.eclipse.org/Polarsys which seems to be active in the same
aera, with Airbus on board AFAICT (which should be close to you somehow)
?
If so, maybe an opportunity for more links between Eclipse Lyo and
Eclipse Polarsys ?
