There is a good deal of discussion occurring outside of the workgroup that
I need to organize and bring into the workgroup in several areas and I am
going to use this week as an opportunity to do this.
In the meantime, it would be good to provide a quick summary of where we
are at with a few of the scenarios. In last week's meeting we summarized
where we are with:
Automation Plan Execution Environment[1] - status: scenario is in scope;
proposed spec changes drafted
Temporary Deployment[2] - status: scenario in scope; alternatives
discussed and some rejected. On-going discussion of remaining proposals.
Automation Template[3] - status: scenario in scope; alternatives discussed;
mailing list discussion on mechanics of which domain specs should encompass
this
The scenarios only discussed briefly were:
Automation Agent or Worker scenarios[4] - status: some initial workgroup
discussions and models for approaches; not determined if in scope
Automation Orchestration scenarios[5] - status: some initial workgroup
discussions; not clear if additional specification work required; will
start a mailing list discussion this week.
If the scenario owners for any of the above want to provide additional
updates, they are welcome.
